STOP blaming the Internet.

I’ve read many articles criticizing the Internet and web technologies – it’s the inhibitor of “real” human relationships.

But I doubt it.

We could easily lose other’s contact information and never be able to get in touch again without the existence of social networking. Our networks would be limited to a smaller size without the channels Internet has provided for us to connect with others.

We wouldn’t be able have face-to-face communication with friends hundreds of miles away without the help of video conferences. We may never know the birthday of not-so-close friends to send a warm wish, and bring us closer.

We can easily find out what’s happening on the other side of the world, learn through other’s eyes, fight for the right and share our love without barriers.

We have plenty of topics to discuss in any conversation settings, because we are able to grab bits and bits of information about different categories of interests through the Internet, at any random time.

We could get to know others better before diving into their life, similarly, people could understand who I am easier than ever with the sharing of information via the Internet.

Maybe, maybe we are spending less time sitting next to each other, and talk with holding hands. But, we still love others, if not more than before.
